If you follow us on Instagram or Facebook you know I like to cook with what we grow and produce. The Farmers Plate will contain a variety of seasonal vegetables, a dozen eggs, and depending on the featured recipe, pork and fruit like strawberries.
FEBRUARY 2022 FARM PLATE
This months Farm Plate box is Oven baked BBQ pork ribs and Upside-down Strawberry Cake.
The box will have:
- Our pasture-raised pork ribs (you request approximately how many lbs you want)
- 1 dz eggs
- 2 lbs of frozen strawberries
The recipes are Cast Iron Cookery: Strawberry-Rhubarb Upside-Down Cake – Tall Clover Farm This is a great recipe using a cast iron pan – my favourite way to cook! and Best Oven Baked Ribs Recipe – How To Make Oven Baked Ribs (delish.com) I love that this recipe has a basic BBQ sauce you make from scratch. These recipes are of course just suggestions! I am going to make this meal later this month and will share photos.
Depending on amount of ribs requested the cost will be $35 – $60. To order this please send me an email with how many ribs, and when you would like to pick-up. I can also have your order ready at the farmers market.
