U-PICK STRAWBERRY INFO
Hours: Sunday 10am to 5pm, and Wednesday evening 6:30 to 8:00pm. This does change though! It is weather dependent and depends on how many berries we are seeing in the field. Please check our Facebook page for updates, or give us a call before you come out.
Cost: Our upick strawberries are $3.85/lb
What to bring: Please bring your own bucket or container. We weigh them, then deduct that weight after you are done picking. If its hot please bring a water bottle, sunscreen and hat.
FAQ
Do you spray your berries? No! We do not spray with anything
How can I pay? Cash or tap(debit/ credit cards) is preferred, we can do e-transfer as well
Can my kids come? YES!! We just ask that they follow the rules of no running, jumping or wandering outside of the u-pick area
Do you have a bathroom? No, we do not unfortunately. The closest public bathroom is at the Merville Store
Can my dogs come? No – please leave your pups at home.
WHAT is your favourite colour? strawberry red of course!.
**If you are allergic to wasp/ bee stings** PLEASE let us know, bring your epi-pen. We will tell you ahead of time what the spicy sky-raisin population is like in the strawberry field. If it is bad we will ask you to have a friend pick berries for you.
NO SMOKING anywhere on our farm
We grow our strawberries with organic certified compost and fertilizer and we think it shows with the flavour! Our sweet and fragrant strawberries are ready as soon as the beginning of May and last usually well into September. We do not spray our strawberries, we use predatory insects to deal with pests.
